Autoridursi, occupare meno spazio, rivedere il proprio "cerchio" vitale.
In questo momento sono molto concentrata su questo lato della mia decrescita.
Di solito si tende ad allargarsi. Io tendo a restringermi.
Che senso ha possedere case più grandi, auto più grandi, giardini più grandi, città più grandi? Serve per accumulare. Serve per avere spazio per stipare oggetti inutili che servono poco e a poco.
Così, Dopo aver deciso di andare a vivere in una casa più piccola vendendo la mia perchè ho l'opportunità di estinguere il mutuo ora è la volta dell'automobile.
Ho approfittato di una offerta a tasso zero per comprare (a rate appunto) un'auto natural power mooooooolto più piccola di quella che ho.
Consuma la metà.
E perderò una camera nell'andare a vivere in una casa più piccola. Ma noi siamo in 3 e le nostre attuali 3 camere da letto sono spropositate per la nostra famiglia.
Passeremo da 100mq a 80mq.
A km zero. l'appartamento che abbiamo scelto dista 300 metri da quello in cui viviamo!
Quello che voglio dire è che occupiamo troppo spazio in questo mondo. Siamo troppo concentrati sull'espansione e non pensiamo a quello che perdiamo nel tragitto dal centro di noi stessi all'esterno: non è il conflitto fra essere ed avere ma la scelta di cosa si decide di tenere.
Avendo meno spazio si ha la possibilità di scegliere cosa avere in base alla reale necessità.
E si consuma meno. Nel caso di un appartamento si consuma meno luce e gas, nel caso di una automobile si congestiona meno il traffico.
E questo è solo l'inizio...

Self-reducing, occupy less space, review one’s own vital “circle”.

I am very concentrated on space at the moment and it is a step of my de-growth path.
Usually one tends to enlarge spaces, I am trying  reduce them.
What sense does it have to live in big houses, have big cars, own big gardens? It only serves to accumulate. It is only necessary to fill up with useless stuff which doesn’t get used or very little.
This is why, after deciding to live in a smaller house, as I had the opportunity to extinguish mu mortgage, we have now decided to buy a new smaller car.
I took advantage of a special offer to buy a natural power car muuuch smaller than the one we had. It consumes half the amount too!
In the new house, I will loose a bedroom. But we are three people and we don’t need huge rooms. We will go from 100mt to 80 mt.
It is all local, as the new house is only 300 meters from our current house we live in!
What I want to say is that we occupy to much space in this world. We are far too much concentrated on expansion and we don’t think about the fact that we lose a lot from our own center towards the outside: it isn’t a conflict between  being and owning but the choice to decide to keep.
When one has less space, one has the possibility to decide which are the real necessities.
And we will consume less. In a flat one consumes less gas and electricity, in the case of a car one creates less traffic.

And this is only the beginning…
