Today we are proposing a tutorial that I made with my recycling friends to make a washable duster. Each time we use an object which needs to be thrown away, we create waste and costs to buy them are very high for families. This is why an easy tutorial has been created to use the handle of a disposable object and transform it into a useful, ecological and long lasting one.
Serve:
Forbici
macchina da cucire con filo
stoffa riciclate (noi abbiamo usato una pashmina infeltrita ed un top di un pigiama felpato)
manico di spolverino
You will need:
Scissors
sewing machine and cotton
recycled fabric (we use an old pashmina scarf and the top of an old thick pijiama)
A duster handleTagliare 4 rettangoli di 20x10cm e 4 quadrati10x10cm.
Cut 4 rectangles 20x10cm and 4 10x10cm squares
Put the small squares externally and the 4 rectangles internally.
Prendere il manico dello spolverino e tracciare i lati sulla stoffa per sapere dove fare le cuciture.
Take the handle and make a line on each side of the fabric to know where to sew.
Cucire sulle righe tracciate su entrambi i lati per poter poi infilare il manico.
Sew on the lines made on each side so to manage to put the handle in it.
Tagliare delle strisce di circa 1 cm su ogni lato del manico e ogni pezzo di stoffa.
Cut strips of about 1cm on each piece of fabric and on each side of the handles.
Il vostro spolverino lavabile è ora pronto all'uso!
Now your duster is ready to be used!
