A few days ago I had placed a few persimmons on my terrace to mature and as they were ready I decided to make jam with them. One can find many recipies online but I invented a new version as I had some persimmon sauce leftover. I took the pulp off and placed it all in a pan with some lemon juice, after a few minutes (you will feel it stick) I added some sugar not much as the fruit is very sweet and a few drops of vanilla. Some might prefer cinamon or rhum, choose according to your taste! After a few minutes the sugar will melt and you will just need to do the plate test to know when to turn it off. Just put in previously washed and drained pots, close them when the jam will be cool and sterilize in boiling water for 10 minutes.

...e come è venuta???
RispondiEliminaIo 2 anni fa l'ho provata... era immangiabile perchè estremamente tannica. Sicuramente avrò commesso qualche errore! Se vi riesce bene fatemi sapere!! grazie!!
RispondiEliminaCosa vuol dire estremamente tannica? :-)
