Insegnare ai bambini a cucire è fondamentale se vogliamo iniziare un percorso di Transizione. Ho pensato ad un buon stimolo facile da realizzare con la lavanda raccolta ed essicata ad agosto.

Teach children how to sew is fondamental to get them started for a transition network path. I thought of starting them off by getting them to make lavander sachets from our dryed lavender picked in August.
Le bambine hanno usato delle maniche di una camicia per fare i sacchettini. (la volevano a maniche corte)
The children used sleeves from a shirt to make the sachets. (They wanted it with short sleeves)


Hanno tolto i fiori secchi dai steli.
They took off the dried flowers from the stems.

Hanno poi cucito i 4 lati lasciando un buco per riempire il sacchetto. Una volta finito basta chiudere il buco a macchina o a mano e il sacchetto è pronto per il loro armadio!


They then sewed the four sides and left a hole to fill it up with the lavander. Once the sachet is full close the hole by using the sewing machine or by hand, it is now ready for your cupboard!
